even though we don't get the days off, it is still so wonderful to have spring break.
the kids go away, or at least most of the do, the parking lots open up, and there is a fun atmosphere in the air.
people have longer lunches, in some cases that means having lunch at all. plans for coffee or a walk around campus start happening too. our own little spring break rituals.
plus, i get off early! i have to fight traffic but i get home in time for dinner at 6 not dinner at 7:30.
the feeling that we just might survive till school is over returns.
things get finished during spring break or things get started. since we have a move coming up over the summer, spring break is time for...wait for it....spring cleaning! old files, by-by. dumb stuff i never use, by-by. books i have not used for many a year, by-by. by the time school kicks back in, i may have, no i WILL have a tidier office. just so i can move to a smaller space. oh boy.
but still, spring break has its good points.
just hope yoga is not canceled.

dreams filled and not
i want a Mac to use the wireless at home. Seems i always find something do check or label or write when sitting upstairs but both computers are downstairs, even the wireless one. So, someday, when i grow up i will get my own Mac and call her Honeybee.
i did finally get a new vacuum. i feel like i got new carpet! Suddenly you can see the blue of the carpet, no cat hair!
Even though i love the two cats who live with us, the hairy one is a bit of a problem when it comes to shedding. Thank heavens my husband does not have a lot of hair.
